Week 37 Update
Weill there is some good news and some bad. Good news - I worked out everyday this week like I was supposed to. Bad news - I gained a pound. Such is life. But I feel a lot better about getting back on track with my exercise. Hopefully the gain was just a result of my monthly visitor but we shall see. Group tonight was talking about flexibility training, which I am very guilty of not doing. I am tight, especially in my traps and hamstrings. Too much sitting in a car I think. We have some more new people. I also found out the program there is offering a third option, called aptly enough Option 3. Its all prepackaged meals. Still ow calorie like the rest but a little more variety in your choices. We have one lady in our group doing that. One nice thing is that the new people were looking at me like "why are you here?" That was very gratifying, especially since I remember thinking the same thing about others when I first started. I have been having a lot of trouble dropping any lower. Half was a variety of times, like my vacation, where I did not do what I was supposed to. Let hope this plateau doesn't last too long.

Week 36 Update
So the verdict for this week is 165.6 pounds! That is a whole 3 pounds gone. This totally rocks. I am still not back up to speed with my weight training but I have been doing cardio 6 out of 7 days. I have not been double logging my food either. It was getting a bit tiring. I still have the log on the fridge though. Holding off temptation has been hard. My hubby is getting permissive with food again, and I have been letting him. I have been trying to justify it by exercising which has prob minimized the damage a little. I am still trying to get to 160 before going on maintenance and its looking closer and closer. They were not kidding when they said the last 10 pounds are the hardest.

Week 34 and 35 Update
So I missed updating last week so I am doing a combo update. Last Tuesday I clocked in at 170.4 and this week I am at 168.8. Not quite where I was before vacation but getting there. I was not going well since getting back. I only did resistance training once since getting back from vacation. And I felt like crap. I got to the gym today and I felt a lot better afterwards. I was not feeling good when I got back from vacation and I took some time off which was not a good idea. I actually feel better now that I got a few days of exercise under my belt. I am still having some pain in my shoulder from the car accident. I have also been getting acupuncture, which has helped overall with my headaches and menstrual pain. I feel like I am getting to a better place with my health which is nice for a change. That week off actually made me see how much the exercise was making me feel better and more energized. It also helped me realize how quickly I can slide backwards when I don't do what I am supposed to.

Week 33 Update
Ah, another update mad late. But this time it is because I was not at home. The hubby and I went on vacation and I broke ranks on the diet so badly. I mean the only thing I kept up with was my exercise. We went to Vegas and I never realized how hard it was to find a decent salad! Such is life. I walked every day for hours on end and hit the gym to do weights about every other day while we were gone. The scale at the gym at the hotel clocked me in at 171 so I will call that my unofficial weight. Next Tuesday will be my first official weigh in since leaving and its not looking good. Between the food and drinking while on vacation and that special time of the month I think I will be around 175. But we shall see. Worth it - absolutely!

Week 32 Update
Okay so its a little late but I lost 3 pounds this week. My hubby and I managed to get a lot of quality walking done this past week. Al I can say is foot warmers rock! I am still working on the food. Chocolate is a very dangerous thing. We actually had people attend group this week. We have a lot of new people starting. Its funny because they look at me like why are you here? But that a good thing. My friend found a pic from high school of the two of us. One - I was a dork. Two - I am on the right track.

Week 31 Update
So my total for this week was 170.2 for a gain of almost 8 pounds. Many mistakes have been made. So I am refocused. I am still striving towards 160 by Vegas, although it is looking like it will not happen. I got lax. I figured I had this weight thing licked so a cheat here and there wouldn't hurt. Well I wasn't doing my job and it showed. I don;t want to be like that chick on the biggest loser. She lost no weight and tried to make it seem like she did all she needed to do. I know I didn't do what I was supposed to for the past couple week and the scale is showing it. So lets refocus and get back to trying to look amazing for my anniversary.

Self-Sabotage
I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 170 pounds. Well I did it. I managed to undo week and weeks worth of worth in a matter of days. Its that special time of month and I am sick and I gave into every urge. My husband and I polished off a bag of chips two days in a row. I have had chocolate covered pretzels almost every day. I find myself sneaking carbs and craving salt. I skipped my weigh in last week and now I see I will have hell to pay come this Tuesday. I was not always hungry. I have been emotionally eating because I feel like crap. And I have let my husband become an enabler. I have been exercising but that does not overcome the fact I have been eating at least twice as much as I should. Ad I can feel it. And see it. I have to get a hold of myself. And writing it down it where it starts.

Week 30 Update
So there is no weight update for week 30 because I was sick at home and did not feel like dragging myself out into the impending snow to get bad news about how I put on a bunch of weight. Because as far as my scale at home is concerned I have put on at least 3 pounds. Defeat sucks.

Week 29 Update
Alright I lost 3.8 pounds this week. Which is pretty good considering I was very bad on sat. Pizza and alcohol and chips. I was able to keep up with my exercise, I only missed one day. I also found out some people I know have joined the program. I wish them the best of luck. Vegas here I come.

Week 28 Update
So I lost a little under a pound this week. Not bad considering I went nuts onchips while watching football this weekend. We had group and no one showed up again. Ended up being the speaker, myself, and the new chick. So we spent the whole time talking about the program and answering the new chicks questions. I have been proud of myself because I have been walking. And its mad cold outside. But thanks to long johns and goose down jackets and mittens I am still out taking walks. I feel better when I get some exercise in. I also tried running on the treadmill again. Didn't do too bad. Could go for about 2 min before I had to stop. I have been doing interval training - switching between 1 to 2 min running and 1 to 2 min walking. I was also able to increase my weights at the gym. Finally! So that leaves 6.4 pounds left. I want to try and get that off before we go back to Vegas. Here's hoping.

Week 27 Update
Happy New Year! I lost 2.2 pounds this week so I am clocking in at 167.2 pounds. We had our first group if the year and I was the only person there. So I got a freebie one on one with a nutritionist. Which was cool. I realize sugar is still my weakness. I also found that I was not doing the serving size correctly for somethings to count as an exchange. But now I know and that is half the battle. She also was surprised that I took the time to get a food scale. I find it very helpful. Especially since I can start to eyeball how much of something I can have, which is good when the scale is at home. I can make it thru some cardio without too much hip pain so that is also good. My lunch choices have been working out. I found I do not even need to have the shake on the road. I still carry it just in case though. I am also totally addicted to wawa coffee. So I will cont with the weekly meetings until I get down to 160 pounds and then transition to maintenance.
