Welcome to Blogging

Okay so this is my first post on my new blog. I have decided to start this blog to document my latest weight loss efferts. So I shall start with a litle background info. Ended high school around 150 lb. I'm somewhere between 5'9" and 5'10". So lets do the math. 150lb + college + death of father - walking (got a car) + birthcontrol - tennis + multiple stressful jobs + college (grad school) = 220 lb. Which really sucks. So I got off the birth control (bye bye extra hormones), and got a new job (more flexability less stress). And to top it all off I am starting the New Direction medically managed weight loss program on July 1st. I had my intro interview today and I get my lab work done tomorrow. I start on July 1st with a check up by a doctor, and meetings with a nutritionist and psychologist. This is going to be a wholesale change in how I do what I do. The new direction program is a total meal replacement program, with weekly meetings for weigh in and education, bi-weekly lab tests, and weekly check ups by a MD or RN. Once I get to me goal weight I will start meeting with a nutritionist again to start bring regular food back into my life. My tartget is to get back to the 150lb I started at. The plan is to use this blog and a picture diary to help keep myself on track. Wish me luck.
